The Bozeman Historic Preservation Advisory Board is a city-sponsored committee of volunteers, established in 1985.  Our Board works to increase public awareness of Bozeman’s unique and valuable historic resources, and to ensure that preservation concerns are represented in the public planning process.

We invite you to explore our website, with its historic photos and information.  Be sure to check out the Activities page for upcoming Preservation Board events.

And feel free to contact us with your questions, suggestions, or concerns!  Our e-mail address is

Members of the Bozeman Historic Preservation Advisory Board are conducting a “reconnaissance inventory” of historic streetscapes in the city’s northeast neighborhoods.  Click here for more information.

We’ve added additional photo galleries to the website, featuring images of downtown businesses and their historic signs!  Click here for a gallery of historic photos, and here for some contemporary images.
